I was looking at Mazda B series/Rangers for a while. I found that the B-Series was much more likely to have a manual transmission.

I really don't know. It would only need a rebuild, but it has to be less than $800.

Yeah, I think the carbureted ones were dogs. The fuel-injected Ford 2.8 V6 was good, but you have to get a Ford for that one.

A 4.0 in a 2wd with a stick? I bet its got some grunt. Our work truck was automatic and 4WD but that thing would get up and go.

Eeeh, my mom's boyfriend has one of those with the four-banger. Fun fact: the engine has two spark plugs per cylinder.
Fun fact: it's the most miserable engine in the world. We're hoping to swap it with the V6 from a 2001 mustang.
